The Londoner pub in Canyon Country is known for being a community-oriented business. We have raised money and awareness for many local charities, including the Santa Clarita Domestic Violence Center, Yes I Can, and the American Cancer Society.

The Londoner focuses on safety and responsibility and is the only bar in the Santa Clarita Valley that offers free rides home every Friday and Saturday nights.

The events that occured last Saturday night were unfortunate. However, we would like to reiterate that this was an isolated incident and are thankful the suspect was apprehended by local law enforcement and is no longer a threat to our community.

In the past, we have never had any issues with the safety of our staff or our customers. The incident involving an obviously unstable individual has opened our eyes.

That being said, we are increasing security measures at The Londoner by adding a metal detector at the door.

We are quite confident that this will deter any possibilities of future problems and that The Londoner will continue to be a leader in the community, not only for good times, but also for its charitable contributions and safety.
