Festival of Trees performers sought
Performers (especially children’s groups) are needed for the upcoming Festival of Trees, benefiting the local Boys & Girls Club, Nov. 18-21. Stocking donations (filled with unwrapped gifts of any imagination or budget) are also sought. Volunteers sought for Festival of Trees
The eighth annual Festival of Trees, benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley, will be held Nov. 18-21, in Canyon Country. More than 200 volunteers, age 14 or older, are needed to help. Shifts begin as early as 8 a.m. and end as late as midnight.  Duties include working with kids in the activity corner, greeting guests, selling tickets, helping Santa, providing information to guests, safeguarding the trees, writing orders, and working in the boutique. Operation Thank Our Troops
Annual community collection drive for military care packages, items need include granola bars, beef jerky, white and black cotton sport socks, canned ravioli with pop tops, batteries, international phone cards, gloves, beanies, flashlights, treats and toys for dogs, as well as card and letters of support.
