Rubbish fire put out near Highway 14

Firefighters responded to a rubbish fire burning along the northbound side of Highway 14 just south of Sand Canyon Road Friday afternoon.
The fire broke out around before 2:46 p.m. and fire crews were at the scene at 2:52 p.m., according to Inspector Sam Padilla with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire was knocked down by about 3:15 p.m., Padilla said.
