'Make a Difference' with Menchie's on Oct. 23

Menchie's Frozen Yogurt will host a fundraiser for Help the Children on Saturday, Oct. 23.

Menchie's Frozen Yogurt in Canyon Country will host a fundraiser for "Make a Difference Day" on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The community is invited to enjoy a tasty treat at this Menchie's location, support the Santa Clarita-based Help the Children and "Make a Difference" for less fortunate local families.

Bring the flier (see above) to Menchie's Frozen Yogurt at 26865 Sierra Highway, Newhall 91321, and 15 percent of your purchase will benefit Help the Children.

About Help the Children
Help the Children was established in Santa Clarita in 2002 to meet the social welfare needs of the poor, distressed or under privileged by providing food, clothing and personal hygiene supplies in the most effective way possible. Since opening, more than 10,000 local Santa Clarita Valley residents have received food from this food bank.

Help the Children is committed to operating on a 1 percent budget, spending 99 cents of every dollar received on food and programs helping children and their families locally, nationally and internationally.
