Ted and Kim Rafalovich, of Valencia, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party held in their honor.

The couple were married Aug. 16, 1958, in Pasadena. They have been residents of the Santa Clarita Valley for 10 years.

The couple have four sons, Ted III, of Santa Clarita; Tim, of Rancho Santa Fe; Tom, of Santa Monica and Todd of Burlingame.

The couple also has five grandchildren.

The party, hosted by the couple's sons, sported their 50th anniversary colors of cardinal and gold, honoring how the couple met at the University of Southern California.

Ted Rafalovich has been retired for 23 years from a high technology consulting job in the Silicon Valley.
