The Valley Industrial Association’s monthly luncheon today focuses on “The Business of Green: Energy, Technology and Initiatives.”

As new CalGreen building codes go into effect in California on Jan. 1, a panel will discuss the new mandates, what they mean, and how green and energy efficient technology can be incorporated into business plans.

Also included in the discussion is the status of AB32 and SB375, and how Proposition 23 on the November ballot could impact businesses.

The panel is comprised of David Peterson, city of Santa Clarita; Chris Coronel, Southern California Edison; Greg Powell, Enerlon; Ken Raleigh, Hedman Partners and DJ Schramm of Green Convergence.
