Why Americans are so anxious

We are more anxious than 94.4 percent of the people in Mexico and nine times more likely to experience anxiety than Chinese laborers.

This stands to reason, because 94.4 percent of the people in Mexico and 100 percent of Chinese laborers have virtually nothing to be anxious about. What would make you anxious when you have so little to lose?
We, on the other hand, have: religious zealots sworn to destroy our society; the threat of catastrophic suicide attacks hanging over us 24/7; what can only be described as an economy that is less than this country is used to; more than a slight threat of having to totally adjust our lifestyles; trying to figure out what to do with 12 million (or so) illegal aliens, which by the way is more than 10 percent of the current population of Mexico and would make California the third most populous state in Mexico, to name a few worries affecting us all.

And some think that this presidential election is supposed to help "break the spell of rampant anxiety"!

Say what?

We had better take a closer look at the candidates. These two could be poster boys for "rampant anxiety."
