Sip, stroll and savor the sounds at wine affair Oct. 17

The Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley will present the 3rd annual "Sip, Stroll, and Savor the Sounds" wine affair at the Westfield Valencia Town Center on Sunday, Oct. 17 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The "Sip, Stroll and Savor the Sounds" event will begin along Town Center Drive, where over twelve venues will open their doors to pour wine and provide food. Confirmed participants include: Salt Greek Grille, Lee's Wine Bistro, The Wines Restaurant, South Point Grill, Pottern Barn, Carlton Hair International, Valencia Wine Company, Glen Ivy Spa, Ro'Ma, La Via Bella, and Sisley.

In addition, Vino 100 Valencia, TGIC Importers, Inc., Malibu Family Wines, DiMaggio Washington, Trader Joes, The Paseo Club, Wolf Creek, and Mojito Cuban Cuisine will participate at their designated locations.

Each venue will feature its own unique wine tasting, food and entertainment.

Musical entertainment will range from the rock jams of Blue Baron Band, Stupid Pony and Jim Shrier to the sultry vocals of Linsday Hough and Nicki Bente, Latin sounds of Ino Alvarez, Folksy sounds of Blue Sky, and rock country stylings of Fahr.west. DJ Lee of Lee's Bistro will also spin tunes on the turntable at the restaurant front.
