David and Karla Posner, of Saugus, Calif., are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Lynn Posner, to Scot Lawrence Peeples, of Canyon Country, Calif.

The bride-elect is the sister of Samantha, Robert and Kimberlee Posner.

She is a graduate of Saugus High School and attended College of the Canyons. She is office manager at Halverson Insurance in Santa Clarita.

The groom-elect is the son of Stephen K. Peeples and Nadine A. Martini-Peeples. He is the brother of Veronica Joan Peeples.

He is a graduate of Canyon High School and a student at College of the Canyons.

He is also the interim general manager of the Borders Books & Music store in Valencia.

The couple met while sophomores in high school, and became engaged in November 2006.

They will be wed Saurday, Aug. 23 at a private estate in Newhall, with reception to follow there, and will honeymoon at Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
