Politicians should try some decency in campaigns

Tammy Messina, I am not in your political arena but I must agree with you on most of your points that you wrote in your Sept. 17 column, "Voters, who do you trust?"

If the candidates would donate some of their money and their time to charitable work instead of lambasting each other, the voters would have more respect for them and would trust them.

Build yourself up, don't tear the other guy down. That would be the decent and trustworthy way to run a campaign.
It is a fact that "it is easier to preach negative than to preach positive," or "it is easy to preach hate than to preach love."

Voters, please read Messina's "Right Here, Right Now" column. It is an eye-opener.
