Kimberly Altobello, Bank of Santa Clarita’s executive vice president and chief administrative officer, recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Graduate School of Banking program.

Altobello is part of the management team credited with the founding and organizing of the Bank of Santa Clarita.

“We are very proud of Kim’s outstanding accomplishment,” said James D. Hicken, president and CEO. “This is a very difficult program and the knowledge and expertise that she has gained will be a definite asset to the bank.”

Established in 1945, to provide bankers with an opportunity for advanced study and research in banking, economics and leadership, the school counts nearly 20,000 bankers, bank regulatory officials and industry consultants as alumni.

Banking program
The program is sponsored by 18 state bankers associations, comprising the Central States Conference of Bankers Associations and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The curriculum focuses on the management of strategic issues faced by banking executives and financial services industry professionals. Approximately 550 banking professionals, both U.S. and internationally based, attend each year.

Instruction at the graduate school program takes place during two-week resident sessions, for three consecutive summers, along with comprehensive study between summer resident sessions. Faculty and staff are comprised of academicians, economists, government officials and industry professionals.
