	Rattlesnake Slim's fundraiser raises nearly $2K for Guadalajaran kids

The benefit concert on Thursday for the children of Guadalajara raised $1,915, according to Gordon Mehterian, owner of Rattlesnake Slim’s, the Newhall coffee, tea and tack shop that organized the event.

The concert, held at Hart Hall of Hart Park due to a recent fire that damaged Mehterian's store, featured the country band New West.
