Lexus Jazz and Blues Series
The sounds of live jazz and blues bands once again fill Town Center Drive in Valencia during the 10th annual Lexus of Valencia Jazz & Blues Concert Series. Hours for the concerts will be 7-9:30 p.m. and they will take place on Town Center Drive adjacent to the Hyatt Valencia. No pets or outside food or beverages are allowed. Admission is free. The concert line-up includes: Friday - Tom Nolan Band, Aug. 22 - Teresa James & the Rhythm Tramps, Aug. 29 - The Delgado Brothers, Sept. 5 - Michael John & the Bottom Line. Time Management Presentation
On Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. the Family Child Care Association of the SCV will host a presentation on Time Management by Liz Hodson. Liz is a radio personality on our hometown station and a life skills coach. Members are free, guests are $5 to attend. The FDCASCV meets the second Tuesday of every month at the New Apostolic Church on Bouquet Canyon for networking and support for licensed in home child care providers and parent advocates. Computer Club Meeting
The Santa Clarita Valley Computer Club will be meeting at the SCV Senior Center on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The session will feature an encore presentation by Stephen K. Peeples, The Signal's online editor. Arnie Kazdoy will also demonstrate a few Adobe Photoshop Elements tips and tricks. Admission is free and all are invited. Senior Center Movie

Summer Food Drive
The City of Santa Clarita will host a special Summer Food Drive through Aug. 29 at three city locations: City Hall, the Transit Maintenance Facility and the Aquatics Center.
