Man arrested for hauling nearly 75 pounds of pot

A San Bernadino man was arrested Sunday morning when officers found 74.7 pounds of in his pick up truck which was stalled on the 210 Freeway, a few miles south of the Santa Clarita Valley.

California Highway Patrol officers tried to help a driver whose 1991 Nissan Frontier pick up truck was stopped at 12:35 a.m. on the Roxford Street freeway off ramp, according to a statement. Officers smelled marijuana and found five trash bags filled with pot in the truck’s flatbed.  

Luis Reyna, 43, was arrested for transporting marijuana and is being held on $100,000 bail, according to arrest records.
