The Santa Clarita Valley-based nonprofit organization Help the Children has partnered with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in a fundraiser to raise money toward a new van.

Earlier this year Help the Children received a generous grant from the city of Santa Clarita toward the purchase of a new van. This fundraiser will help raise the remaining funds needed to replace the 10-year-old van currently being used to pick up food drives and donations in the SCV.

The goal is to sell 1,000 dozen doughnuts.

Orders must be pre-paid and placed by Sept. 7. One dozen traditional glazed doughnuts is only $10 and a half-dozen is only $5.

How to Order:
* Call Help the Children at 661-702-8852 to order and pay by credit card
* Online at helpthechildren.org (enter the number of dozens or number of half-dozens in the "Comments" box)
* Mail a check to Help the Children (payable to Help the Children) and include the number of dozens or half-dozens being ordered
* In person at the Help the Children office

Orders can be picked up at Help the Children on Friday, Sept. 10 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
