Where are the priorities?

Please tell me how the Los Angeles Unified School District can justify building a $578 million school when there are so many schools that are in need of money.

Teachers being laid off, programs being cut, school supplies running low - and how about poor Castaic, which has been begging for a high school forever? Something's not right here.

Where's the priority?

Editor's note: Castaic high-school students attend schools in the William S. Hart Union High School District.
