Hart High band hosts free e-waste event

The William S. Hart High School Band has teamed up with All Green Electronics Recycling to host the Electronics Recycling Collection Event from on Saturday, Sept. 18 at Hart High School - located at 24825 Newhall Ave, Santa Clarita 91321 - from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event is designed to allow the community to properly dispose of electronics waste, which includes computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, copiers, VCRs, fax machines, cell phones, printers, scanners, hard drives, stereo equipment, cables and cords, shredders, microwaves and more.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to take the opportunity to clean out their garage or store room, and donate their unused electronics to a good cause.
