Brian and Randi Green of Santa Clarita are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Justin B. Green, to Jessica Uri of Mt. Shasta.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Pauline S. Uri of Mt. Shasta. She was born in Medford, Oregon and grew up in Mt. Shasta.

She is a graduate of Mt. Shasta High School and a 2008 graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a degree in interpersonal and organization communication with an emphasis in public relations and media. She is employed by Project Dimensions, Inc. as a marketing specialist/executive assistant.

The groom-elect is the brother of Tyler Green of Santa Clarita and Jennie Green of Monrovia. He is the grandson of William and Cassandra Whitney of Valencia. He is a graduate of Saugus High School and a 2008 graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a degree in construction engineering management. He is employed as a project engineer by Largo Concrete.

The couple were engaged at the beach in Long Beach when the groom-elect wrote “will you marry me?” in the sand. An engagement dinner was held at Back Bay Bistro in Newport Beach. The couple plan on a fall 2010 wedding.
