One person went to the hospital after a Thursday afternoon pileup that involved four vehicles.

Around 12:30 p.m. deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a collision on McBean Parkway near Avenue Scott.

Officials said there were four cars and six people involved, and one woman was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor neck injuries. There were no other reported injuries.

Officials on scene said that one vehicle’s air bags were deployed in the collision.
