Back-to-school festival
What: The Paseo Club hosts “Back to School Kid’s Bash.” Tickets cost $7 for children and adults, and include food and lots of activities including pony rides, raffles and vendors. RSVP required.

Valencia Marketplace Concert
What: The Summer Sunset Concerts at Valencia Marketplace featuring the group Imagine.

Lexus Jazz & Blues Concert Series
What: Top jazz and blues recording artists in the world will pair with a variety of interactive programming for the entire family as well as a variety of food and beverages, including wine and beer for adults. Admission is free. Nelsen Adelard headlining.

Square and round dance club

What: Sierra Hillbillies hosts square and round dances. Rick Gittelman will call squares and Cindy Mower will cue rounds.

‘Celebrate Recovery’

‘Side Man’

What: The California Department of Transportation, Caltrans, closes Highway 14 freeway and Interstate 5 lanes, ramps and connectors as part of a $161-million improvement project to construct carpool lanes and a direct carpool lane connector at the Interstate 5 and Highway 14 freeway interchange.
