Assistance League board

Members of the newly installed 2010-11 board of directors of Assistance League of Santa Clarita. The philanthropic group raises money to benefit a variety of programs in the Santa Clarita Valley including Operation School Bell for children.

 

Assistance League of Santa Clarita recently welcomed the board of directors for 2010–11. Outgoing President Jeannie Carpenter welcomed the new group and wished them success in all their endeavors over the next 12 months.

The new officers are President Jackie Hamby,  VP Membership Mamie Kosaka, VP Resource Development Ellie Hull, VP Philanthropic Programs Mel Johnson, Secretary Maureen Wilksen,  Treasurer Nancy Moeder,  Strategic Plan Joanie Smelser, Education Bobbi Welton, Public Relations Gloria Regan,  Finance Amanda Hezel, Resale Shop Cheryl Carlson and Assisteens Chairwoman Melanie Cotterell.

Assistance League of Santa Clarita has been an active philanthropic organization in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1989.

Among the many philanthropic programs performed by the volunteer members is Operation School Bell providing new school clothes, shoes and school supplies to children throughout SCV school districts.
