Being a resident directly next door to the Smiser Mule Ranch parcel, it grieves me that the city would even consider this an eligible site for an “urban center.” In other words, another shopping center.

Isn’t that what the Town Center mall is, with all of its stores, restaurants, hotels, and apartments? Isn’t that an urban center?

The traffic is bad enough here after the bridge-building and the realignment of Wiley Canyon Road. This is not a smart move to plan or build something of this nature in this area.

We all know that it is corporate America and the almighty dollar which is the driving force behind all this, and as citizens with the power of the vote behind us, we need to band together to get the best compromise we can.
