Fix the bloated budget

If you live in Southern California and want a mind-opening trip, sign up for the free Edwards Air Force Base/NASA Dryden tour.

You’ll see a moribund space agency whose time has long passed (I guess they were busy reaching out to the Muslim community the day I was there), and a defense department for whom $350 million planes are par for the course — and that is at least a Constitutional use of our tax dollars!

Saddest of all, $350 million a pop is a miniscule number compared to the over-bloated federal budget, where four nondefense dollars are spent for every one that is spent on the government’s actual purpose, i.e., defending the nation from without and within.

Heaven help us, America, if we don’t wake up in November and toss out these Democrats.
