Nonprofit: New board and officers sworn in for Center

During a recent installation dinner, Darrel Paulk, chief executive officer of the Child & Family Center, declared Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich an honorary director of the Center for his 25 years of support.

Antonovich spoke to the incoming leadership of the Center about the important work performed for the health of the community by the Center.

Following his remarks Antonovich installed the newly elected officers of the Child & Family Center board of directors:  Chairman John Hoskinson, Vice Chairman Steve Zimmer, Treasurer Michael Berger and Secretary Bill Cooper. 

New board members include:  Ric Clark, Jeff Hacker and Marc Winger.  Also recognized for their dedication and hard work were members of the Center Board:  Terry Martin, John Hoskinson, Mike Berger, Adele Macpherson, Lois Bauccio, Bill Cooper, Diana Cusumano, Dale Donohoe, Judy Fish (Outgoing Board member), Don Fleming, Bob Gravette, Gloria Mercado-Fortine, David Wong and Steve Zimmer. 

Outgoing Chairman Terry Martin was presented a gift from the Center and received numerous accolades from government officials. He served as the 2008-10 board chairman. 

A powerful testimonial was given by Tina Gonzalez, a CalWorks client who credited the Center for changing the course of her life.
