Ali Hajimohamed, 14, was last seen Wednesday, said his father, Aziz Hajimohamed.

A Valencia father was reunited with his missing son this morning after some restaurant employees spotted the teen wandering near Castaic Road and matched his face with a picture that appeared in The Signal today.

A law enforcement official said Ali was found alone but he and the teen's father believe Ali was with friends while missing.

A Valencia father who reported his son missing is seeking the community’s help in bringing the teen boy home safely.

Ali Hajimohamed, 14, was last seen Wednesday, said his father, Aziz Hajimohamed.

The teen, who does not have a working cell phone, has not shown up to his summer school class at West Ranch High School, Aziz Hajimohamed said.

He filed a missing persons report on Friday, a sheriff’s official confirmed.

“I don’t think he ran away,” his father said Monday. “I don’t want to fear the worst, but I don’t know what to think.”

Ali left home Wednesday around 1 p.m. to hang out with friends. Afterward, the boy’s friends accompanied Ali to Valencia Glen Park, his father said.

He apparently told friends that he would go home from there, he said.

Ali’s father described the boy as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds. Hajimohamed last saw his son wearing blue jeans, a gray singlet and black sneakers.

Anyone with information can call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at (661) 255-1121 or Hajimohamed at (661) 373-9565.
