Ricardo “Rich” Soto and Jane E. Bettencourt-Soto, of Santa Clarita, celebrated their 25-year wedding anniversary on June 13, by renewing their vows.

The private ceremony was officiated by Pastor Javier Labrador and was attended by 80 family members and friends of Christ.  

In lieu of gifts, they requested donations be made to the Betty Ferguson Foundation.

The couple has been residents of Santa Clarita Valley for 16 years and has two children, Marlise and Nicholas Soto.

The couple met in an elevator 28 years ago while working in the same building in Los Angeles. 

Rich Soto is a 38-year employee at Northrop Grumman in Palmdale and Jane Bettencourt-Soto is a community leader serves as executive director for the Betty Ferguson Foundation.
