‘Paper Moon’ fundraiser benefits battered women

The Saugus High School Choir Department will present Saugus alumni in “Paper Moon,” a benefit concert to raise money for the YWCA’S battered women’s shelter in Compton.

The night of song and dance will be held 8 p.m. Saturday on stage at Valencia High School. Tickets: $10.

“This cause means a lot to me — and I know it will mean a lot to the women, too,” Neimand said.

The cast includes Annie Neimand, April Dooley, Bryce Coefelid, Dominique Dickenson, Eddie Nelson, Jessica Oliver, Kris Feldman and special guests Marlee Simon, Michael Watanabe, Shane Jacobic, Tamara Wurst and Vince Edwards. Crew is Brittney Bermudez, Britney Oliphant, Brian Illescue and Mark Lynn.
