Sheriff's deputies arrested a Canyon Country man Thursday night after finding $50,000-worth of narcotics in his home, culminating a six-month investigation led by Detective John Skikas, officials said.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies seized half a pound of hallucinogenic mushrooms, 100 tabs of LSD, 50 marijuana plants, packages of marijuana, various prescription pills, two handguns and a shotgun after serving a search warrant at a home on the 18000 block of American Beauty Drive, according to Sheriff's Lt. Mark Hershey.

Justin James Taylor, 24, was arrested on suspicion of transportation of controlled substances and possession with intent to sell controlled substances. He is being held at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station on $30,000 bail, Hershey said.
