Two men were robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night while trying to make a deal for about $1,800 in jewelry, according to sheriff’s department reports.

The two men were in a garage at 10:30 p.m. in the 18200 block of Flynn Drive in Canyon Country when a man pointed a pistol and stole the jewelry, said Lt. Brenda Cambra of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The suspect, who is described as a 6-foot-2-inch, 220-pound man, left before deputies arrived, Cambra said.
