Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s deputies arrested a Sylmar man after discovering he had pieces of paper in his car containing more than 10 people’s personal information, sheriff’s officials said Wednesday.

Jason Castillo was weaving in and out of traffic lanes on Bouquet Canyon Road on Tuesday when deputies pulled him over, according to sheriff’s department reports.

Castillo was allegedly driving on a suspended license, and when his vehicle was searched, deputies reportedly found other people’s Social Security and driver’s license numbers.

Castillo was arrested on suspicion of identity theft, a felony, and was being held without bail at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
