What: The California Department of Transportation closes Highway 14 and Interstate 5 lanes, ramps and connectors as part of a $161-million improvement project to construct carpool lanes and a direct carpool lane connector at the I-5 and Highway 14 interchange.

Where/When: (Highway 14) southbound Highway 14 connector to northbound Interstate 5: 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; (Interstate 5) northbound truck route collector road: 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.; one lane of northbound Interstate 5 connector to northbound Highway 14: 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.; southbound Balboa Blvd. off-ramp: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.; one lane of the southbound truck route collector road: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; southbound truck route collector road: 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
