A phone call to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station from a concerned resident Saturday morning led to the arrest of three people, resulted in the recovery of drugs and stolen property, and brought closure to two recent car theft victims.

Deputies responded to the 28800 block of Bougainvillea Way, Canyon Country, to a resident's report of suspicious persons in a vehicle who were possibly doing drugs.

At approximately the same time, deputies were responding to a second nearby call in the 15600 block of Rosehaven Lane, Canyon Country, to a resident's report that his car had been stolen within the last three hours.

Deputies had also responded to a stolen vehicle call just blocks away two days prior in the 29000 block of Lotusgarden Drive, Canyon Country.

When deputies arrived in the area they detained one individual as he started to drive away, while two others walked towards a nearby house. The second deputy contacted the car theft victim.

After talking to the alert Neighborhood Watch representatives in the area, deputies conducted a thorough preliminary investigation which led them to the recovery of a Honda Prelude in the 25600 block of Rosehaven Lane which was stolen from Lotusgarden Drive on June 3, 2010. The interior of the vehicle had been stripped.

Further investigation led the deputies to a house in the 15600 block of Poppyseed Lane where they discovered auto parts believed to be stolen from the Honda Prelude.

Detectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station's immediately responded and secured a search warrant for the location. During the service of the search warrant deputies recovered several auto parts, several items belonging to the second car theft victim, methamphetamine, Xanax, hypodermic syringes, car stereo equipment, numerous tools and a police baton.

Deputies also recovered the second stolen vehicle, a white Honda Civic, early Sunday morning in Los Angeles.

When the investigation was complete three suspects, who were apparently victimizing their own neighborhood, were booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station on several felony charges.

Ralph Leslie, 39, of Canyon Country, faces potential felony charges of receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. He faces potential misdemeanor charges of possession of burglary tools, and possession of hypodermic needles.

Leslie was also on probation for possession of drug paraphernalia and had just been released from jail on May 29, 2010. He had two active warrants for his arrest and is being held without bail pending future court proceedings.

Adrienne Ramirez, 33, of Canyon Country, faces a potential felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of hypodermic needles. She was also on parole for receiving stolen property and is being held in lieu $10,000 bail pending future court proceedings. She had been released from jail on April 13, 2010.

Christian Orozco, 21, of Palmdale, faces potential felony charges of taking a vehicle without the owner's consent and receiving known stolen property. He was also on felony parole for burglary and is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail. He had just been released from jail on May 29, 2010.
