Mysterious jet noise

I was lucky enough to be outside with my wife during the low passing of the mysterious jet that did a “doughnut” over the Santa Clarita Valley.

What some called a “doughnut” was actually a second aircraft that passed shortly after the first one flew overhead.

The aircraft looked more like a space shuttle, which I suspected came from the Antelope Valley. There was a tiny trail of fire burning from the rear of the aircraft.

Since it was later in the evening, it was hard to see exactly what it looked like, but shortly after the first one passed, I saw a second one coming from the same direction.

I see the situation to be one more of excitement rather than one of complaint. After all, the noise lasted only about five or so seconds.

I do consider myself lucky to see such an amazing sight.
