Outsource to save California

California's Legislature fails to address looming budgetary calamity, but takes action to name a section of the Interstate 405 parking lot for some lackluster political has-been.

Meanwhile, Gov. Wienerschnitzel takes cheap shots at Arizona at a Georgia school commencement (maybe his approval rating is above 21 percent there).

Contrast this with Arizona's Gov. Jan Brewer signing into law measures that are hugely unpopular with special interests, but which are important to the majority of Arizona's residents. This courageous lady and the state Legislature took the right action for Arizona's constituents and is forcing the federal government to do its job. Hmm.

Arizona understands the burden of illegal immigrants on the state's resources, crime rate and citizens. Maybe we could outsource California's state government to Arizona.

They have it together, put their citizens first and take action.

I seriously doubt that anyone complaining about Arizona's law actually read Senate Bill 1070. No mention is made of any race except for one clause: The attorney general or county attorney shall not investigate complaints that are based solely on race, color or national origin.

All this law does is facilitate enforcement of existing federal law.
