A percentage of the proceeds of the brief 150-yard walk will benefit the Domestic Violence Center of the Santa Clarita Valley. Day of event registration is $50 per person.

After walkers have completed the short course a vendor village will offer shopping, dining and workout demonstrations.

The event boasts the theme “Stomp Out Domestic Violence.” Jodi Stokes serves as the event chairwoman.
Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley hosts the event which will include a prewalk warm-up and T-shirts for preregistered walkers.

“This is a great way to begin the morning, helping out victims of domestic violence,” said Dora Zavala, president of Soroptimist International of Greater SCV.
