Inaugural Magic Ride to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the SCV. Six Flags Magic Mountain and Old Road Harley-Davidson will host the Magic Ride Poker Run. Stops include Route 66 in Canyon Country. Preregistration $40 rider, $35 passenger before May 31. Includes admission to Magic Mountain, run pin, raffle ticket, all you can eat barbecue and party with live music. The Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society will present “Suddenly” — a 1954 film starring Frank Sinatra and the Saugus Train Station —  8 p.m., outdoors (weather permitting) at Heritage Junction, 24107 Newhall Ave., in Newhall from the outside of the very same train station used in the film. Center’s hotline needs volunteers
The Domestic Violence Center of the Santa Clarita Valley is seeking volunteers to help answer the 24-hour hotline that provides emergency help for domestic violence related callers. Volunteers will need to complete a special 40-hour training course in order to answer the local hotline. Dates for the complete 40-hour training at Haven Hills are: June 13,16,20,30 and July 7,11,14,18.  Volunteers would need to attend each of the eight training dates.
