Bikers ride for estranged exotics May 16

Los Angeles-based Wildlife WayStation, a refuge for more than 400 native, wild and exotic animals, will host its annual biker ride on Sunday, May 16, in Glendale and Piru at 9 a.m.

The ride rally kicks off at Glendale Harley-Davidson at 9 a.m. and ends at 4311 Center St., Piru 91340 at 11 a.m.

The free event at the end of the route will include food, entertainment and special appearances by movie animals and animal celebrities, including Oreo the Potbellied Pig. Martine Colette, founder and current director of animal services of Wildlife WayStation, will also be present.

Glendale Harley-Davidson is located at 3717 San Fernando Rd., Glendale 91204.
