What: College of the Canyons Fine and Performing Arts division invites community members to browse student’s aesthetic achievements and learn more about college’s range of artistic offerings.

Fifteenth annual Student Art Exhibition
What: The College of the Canyons Art Gallery hosts the 15th annual Student Art Exhibition, featuring an estimated 75 pieces of art created by students from the college’s art, graphics and multimedia design, photography and animation departments.
When: Through May 22, gallery is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Environmental Science Fair
What: COC Students for Sustainability, will host the college’s second Environmental Science Fair featuring projects presented by elementary, junior high, high school and COC students from across the Santa Clarita Valley.

Music festival
What: Rio Norte Junior High School hosts free instrumental music festivals featuring schools from across the western United States.
When: Today, May 8, 14 and 15, Friday performances 4-9 p.m.; Saturday performances 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Trinity’s Spring Gala
What: Trinity Classical Academy hosts its ninth annual Spring Gala, which includes live entertainment, dinner and auctions
