One of the two inmates who escaped from Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic last week was found guilty on Tuesday of multiple counts related to an armed robbery in Encino.

A jury found Winder Estuardo Barrios, 24, guilty of 15 counts, including home-invasion robbery, false imprisonment by violence, assault with a firearm and 10 counts of second-degree robbery, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

He faces up to 50 years in state prison.

A second jury is deliberating over the co-defendant in the case, Jose Antonio Aldana, 24, who escaped from the detention center with Barrios on April 28.

Charges have not been filed against either Aldana or Barrios for the escape.
