Patrol leader Jacob Kurt, 13, of Canyon Country, pounds in a tent stake, as he joins nearly 180 Boy Scouts from Santa Clarita and around Los Angeles County in setting up camp at West Ranch High School in Stevenson Ranch on Saturday. The campers were preparing for the Boy Scouts of America’s 2010 National Jamboree, which will be held in Virginia in July. This year marks the organization’s 100th anniversary.
