Mary Ellen and Bill Spaniel, of Santa Clarita, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Selena Kathleen Spaniel, of Santa Clarita, to Jacob Ryan Walker, of Stevenson Ranch.

The bride-elect is the sister of William Spaniel, of San Diego, and the granddaughter of Kathleen Spaniel, of Las Vegas.

She is a 2001 graduate of Valencia High School and is currently employed as a certified public accountant working the tax department of Fox Entertainment Group in Century City.

The groom-elect is the son of Terri Walker, of Stevenson Ranch, the brother of Jordan Walker, of Stevenson Ranch, and the grandson of Jean Sisson, of Aurora, Colo.

He is a 2001 graduate of Saugus High School and the Video Symphony TV and Film Institute. He is currently employed as an editor of film trailers at The Ant Farm in Hollywood.

The couple are planning a May wedding at the Calamigos Equestrian Center in Burbank.
