Scott Perkins
Newhall native Scott Perkins was nominated for the 2010 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
Perkins, a junior biblical language major, was one of 36 students from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, who received the honor.

Who’s Who nominees are college juniors or seniors who have been noted for their scholarship ability, participation and leadership in academic and extracurricular activities, citizenship and service to Howard Payne, and potential for future achievement.

Nominations are submitted by the university’s faculty and staff, and then reviewed for eligibility.

Students from more than 2,000 universities and colleges within the United States and several foreign nations will be honored in the annual directory. Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges has honored outstanding students since it was first published in 1934.

Founded in 1889, Howard Payne University is a Christian, coeducational university.
