Funeral today at 2 p.m. for deputy killed in McBean crash

At Performing Arts Center; open to the public

Funeral services for sheriff’s Deputy Cameron Glover will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons, 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road, Santa Clarita 91355.

The memorial is open to the public.

Glover, 27, died in a motorcycle crash on Wednesday. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

Glover was off duty at the time. He is survived by his wife, who is seven months pregnant with the couple’s son; his brother, who is a firefighter; and his parents.

Glover was a four-year veteran sheriff’s deputy and served at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station since May 2008.

A memorial fund has been set up in Glover’s name with the Bank of Santa Clarita.

The bank has three offices in Santa Clarita: 27441 Tourney Road, suite 100, Valencia 91355; 21021 Soledad Canyon Road, suite 104, Canyon Country 91351; and 19045 Golden Valley Road, suite 115, Santa Clarita 91321.

Donations can be taken to any branch, or to the sheriff’s station.

Deputies collected donations for the memorial fund on Saturday at College of the Canyons in Valencia and Central Park in Saugus.
