The city of Santa Clarita invites visitors to take advantage of excellent weather forecast for this weekend at two local events: TributeFest on Saturday, May 1 at Central Park 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road, Santa Clarita 91350, and Pet Expo USA on Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2 at College of the Canyons' Valencia campus.

Santa Clarita has a reputation for hosting some of the best outdoor concerts, but new to the city this year is TributeFest.

The exciting brand new event brings together a collection of L.A.'s best tribute artists covering all-time favorite musical acts, including The Beatles, U2, Bon Jovi, Dave Matthews Band, Tom Petty, Queen, Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones, and Sublime.

Each band will perform an hour set featuring chart-topping hits from each legendary group.

In addition to the music, TributeFest will offer 30 craft beers on tap, award-winning B.B.Q. and dozens of L.A.'s most popular nouveau gourmet food trucks. For more details and to purchase tickets, visit

General admission tickets are available for $40, with V.I.P. tickets available for $60.

Santa Clarita residents can use the code "santaclarita" when purchasing general admission tickets to receive a discount.

Animal lovers should plan to attend the city's Pet Expo USA, which showcases the latest and greatest in pet care and pet safety, with healthy and environmentally friendly products from hundreds of pet vendors and service providers, in addition to educational opportunities.

The event includes food, music and entertainment for the entire family.

Best of all, a portion of proceeds support a variety of rescues and adoptions. For more details on this pet-favorite event, visit

"Santa Clarita garnered a reputation as one of the best locations to host top-notch events," said Mayor Laurene Weste. "TributeFest and Pet Expo USA provide excellent opportunities for residents of all ages to enjoy world-class entertainment right in their own back yard."
