Employees of the Newhall School District will flex their brain power on Friday in eight rounds of Trivial Pursuit.

All proceeds from “Team Trivia Night Challenge” will benefit the Newhall Educators’ Family Fund, a nonprofit organization formed to help aid employees of the Newhall School District who suffer serious illness or become terminally ill.

“It started when we found out that one of principals had gotten sick,” said Sally Swiatek, chief executive officer. “It was begun on his request that he would not take any of the community’s goodwill unless whatever we did for him, we would do for anyone that would follow.”
