The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of the Academy of the Canyons and College of the Canyons. She is also a 2007 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in social welfare.
She is currently in graduate school at the University of Colorado, Denver, majoring in counseling psychology.
The groom-elect is the son of Dennis and Joyce Farnan-Martin, of Portage, Mich. He is a 2007 graduate of Western Michigan University with a degree in science education, and he is a biology teacher in Denver.
The couple wrote on their website that "destiny brought us both to Denver."
As newcomers to Denver, the couple were introduced to each other by a mutual friend.
A June 19 wedding is planned in Denver. The couple will make their home in Denver.
