Under the direction of coach Tammie Johnston, the West Ranch High School dance team will host "Time Warp," an end-of-the-year dance show and fundraiser, at 7 p.m. on Friday.

A young but determined team, West Ranch saw all of its competition dances qualify this year for the first time ever.

Team members competed in the "Championship" division at USA Nationals, and their Championship Character dance brought home a fourth-place trophy.

"I am so proud of our girls," dance adviser Lauren Caldaronello said. "The girls have been working so hard, and their work is really starting to pay off."

The event will host dancers from Canyon, Hart, Saugus and Valencia high schools, and also Placerita Junior High School.

Local dance studios, including Elite, Dance Experience, Studio 84, Rage, Shooting Stars, Star Dance and Studio 1, will also be joining the group to perform various dances at the event, scheduled at the West Ranch High School gymnasium located at 26255 W. Valencia Blvd. in Stevenson Ranch.

Tickets are $10 at the door.
