Jason Remon, 24, was arrested Friday morning for allegedly breaking into a vehicle in a Canyon Country neighborhood, according to Lt. Andy Rosso of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The arrest took place around 4:30 a.m. near Marilyn Drive and Meadow Drive when responding deputies caught Remon, a Canyon Country resident, with stolen merchandise that had allegedly been taken from a car, Rosso said.

Remon was charged with burglary and is being held at the station.
