Placerita Junior High School’s two ballroom dance teams placed second and fourth at the High Desert Dance Classic on March 13 in Lancaster. Placerita is the only William S. Hart Union High School District school to offer an afterschool ballroom dance class. This year’s program had an enrollment of 22 seventh-graders, doubling the number of students in the program last year.
