Regarding “Shouting match erupts before City Council meeting” (The Signal, Feb. 9):

This morning as protests in Iran heat up, it was revealed the Iranian police shoot the protesters with paintballs. Why? So that they can easily be identified when the crowds break up and then “dealt with.”

I feel that The Signal did the same thing to me when I, as an informed citizen, voiced my visceral reaction to the “members of the Full Rights for Immigrants Coalition” coming into our city, as well as our City Council members Laurene Weste, Laurie Ender, Marsha McLean, Frank Ferry and “wanna be again” council member TimBen Boydston and Congressman Howard “Buck McKeon,” who facilitated and sided with these radicals against our will.

We know where they stand and we know where The Signal stands. I listened and spoke at the town meeting that night. Did you print that? Carlos Alvarez was escorted out by two officers. Did you print that?

You titled the piece a “shouting match” debate over immigration. It wasn’t about immigration. It was about smearing an honorable councilman. How about titling it “Rules for Radicals” — sit down, shut up, ignore our laws, smear people and order up the paint balls.

That is after we find out the cost to our town for all the bogus litigious battles our representatives have opened us up to.

I am praying our Canyon Country Advisory Committee can provide much-needed help to vet the honor of the next council members to be voted into office in April.
